Rijksweg 11B, Ambt Delden.

Where you do not expect it, hidden behind a row of ancient oaks, you will find this modern "glass" country house from 2013. The assignment to the architect was: design for this unique place a sturdy and transparent house, where light, space and nature come together.

Sunlight meets architecture.
It resulted in a beneficial place where every day feels like a Sunday: with spacious terraces and luxurious lounge areas where you can completely unwind. Where eating outside is more natural than inside. For example, the veranda near the kitchen, is equipped with a double fireplace and a summer evening dinner under the plane trees quickly takes on an Italian touch. First, a refreshing dip in the pool? Or finish with a relaxing sauna session? Anything goes. No day is the same anymore.

Master retreat.
Daylight penetrates deep into the home while the high sun is blocked by a clever interplay of solar control glass, generous overhangs and shutters. Indoor sightlines - up to 34 meters - offer a different perspective each time. Uniquely, each space is accessible in multiple ways so you can always take a different "path. Upstairs are two (children's) bedrooms with a luxurious bathroom and separate toilet. And then there is the master retreat: a lovely bedroom suite with its own walk-in closet, freestanding bath, walk-in shower and separate toilet. From bed - every morning - you have a fantastic view. A free day might start with a coffee on the adjacent loggia.

High-end luxury.
The quality of life in this place also translates to absolute privacy. At the same time, high-tech home automation watches over your safety and comfort. The underfloor heating is adjustable for each room. Lighting and sound boxes are partially built-in and the "garden room" is equipped with a TV complete with subwoofer and sound bar. The pool is equipped with smart technology and the exterior blinds disappear naturally into the overhang. The high-quality finish is always a combination of only the very best and durable materials. For example, the window frames are made of Accoya wood and solar panels provide all the electricity needed.

Countryside.
On the side of the pool is a self-contained, very complete living unit with private parking. Useful for lodgers, as a B&B or perhaps a live-in parent. Children can romp endlessly, climb trees and grow up with animals. In addition to the already present deer, hares and rabbits, there is also room for sheep, goats, chickens or perhaps a Haflinger. Pick your organic fruit in the orchard with old Dutch fruit varieties. In the greenhouse, grow your own tomatoes and zucchini.

Castle village.
Delden has been connected for centuries with Twickel estate and the surrounding lands. The proximity of the castle, the water tower and the vast estates does something to the, already charming town. There is an extensive culinary offer. There are fine specialty stores and - still - a bakery, butcher and greengrocer. There is a train station and within five car minutes you are on the A1/A35 towards Amsterdam. Hengelo, with its high schools and rich cultural offerings is eight kilometers away.

Good to know: The current residents are leaving for abroad. If you want, you can also take over some movable property.
