Zomervreugd is a very fitting name for this inspiring glory on the edge of the forest. You will find stillness and wonder at the same time. Wild flowers and fruit trees alternate with vistas and hardwoods. From the pond in the private forest you can hear cheerful croaking.

Many possibilities.
An arcadian place for people who want to reconnect with nature. Here you live not only in the middle of but also with nature. With plenty of room for a new rhythm of life. In the 9,385 m2 yard there are no less than three buildings: a spacious farmhouse, a barn and the old donkey stable that now serves as a gallery. All buildings have water, gas and electricity.

Plenty of outdoor experience.
A private grove with beautiful sight lines invites you to stroll. There are decking around the pond and benches in places where you might not expect them. On the other side of the former summer home, on the contrary, distant sightlines prevail. There is room for your own herb or vegetable garden, fields of wild flowers or something else. The picnic table under the walnut tree is a cool spot in the afternoon. From the orchard behind the woodshed you have a nice view of the grazing animals all around. Deer, pheasants and hares like to come and visit. Perhaps you will bring some sheep, a pony or other small livestock of your own. There is plenty to share.

Eclectic interior.
Actually, everything is different in this colorful house. The term eclectic probably best describes the interior of this former summer house from 1916. Each room has not only a different color but also a different atmosphere. For example, the country kitchen is mostly pink and the French-style dining room is classically ochre. The hall (but actually everyone comes in the back) is inviting blue. The toilet, too, is a unique experience. The beautifully situated former part is now used as work space but - thanks to the wonderful light - could be a lovely living room. Upstairs are several smaller (sleeping) rooms above the front house. Above the part on the other hand is a large space with - depending on your wishes - possibility for a generous loft.

Off the beaten path.
The current residents have created this sanctuary by following their own hearts. Despite its charm and beauty, you may have very different plans or ideas. The place and space will certainly inspire you to create new, possibly even, plans not previously thought of.

Vorden
Vorden, also called the eight-castle village was already popular with castle lords in the Middle Ages for a reason. The so-called coulisse landscape still provides surprising and new vistas. Farmhouses seem scattered across the landscape. Meadows alternate with forests. Cycling and hiking trails challenge you to discover the surroundings. The village itself offers fine specialty stores, supermarkets and several elementary schools. Secondary schools are within cycling distance in Zutphen and Lochem. Cozy terraces invite you to enjoy a coffee. The striking Hotel Bakker is known far and wide.
