Historic Estate
The nearby castle the Essenburgh dates back to 1652. Around 1850, the lord of the castle - as was customary at the time - commissioned a country house to be built on the grounds for the next generation. That became Klein Essenburgh. The son was given the immense mirror from the hall of the castle as a gift. It turned out to be much too large for Klein Essenburgh. It still hangs there but divided over two floors.

Time machine
Despite all the contemporary luxuries and comforts, you imagine yourself in the early 20th century. Almost every room has a fireplace and marble hearth. On the floor is parquet or authentic marble. Antique, sometimes double doors always lead to a new surprise. The residents love the house. You can see that in the perfect state of repair, in the stylish furnishings and care. "We have constantly improved the house but not remodeled it," says the owner. By the way, you don't have to fill all those 18 rooms at once.
